True life: I have baby fever…. terribly.
I posted this on September 1, 2011… this year on September 1st I’m pregnant and expecting my little girl a month later :) Crazy! If you told me that then, I’d think you were insane.
I crave taco bell nachos every weekend and ask my mom to bring some home and she jokes that the baby will come out with a sombrero! haha
I can’t wait until October to kiss and play with these little piggies!!! :)
I had my 20 week ultrasound on Wednesday! I was pretty nervous, just because I worry about everything. I hadn’t had a ultrasound from the Dr’s office since I was 13 weeks! Boyfriend hadn’t seen the baby since then, he missed my elective gender ultrasound. But, everything seems to be perfect with her and she’s still in fact a HER :) I always new she was a girl, but I just wanted to make sure she didn’t grow a penis or anything! I only got four pictures this time, and they didn’t even switch to the 3d/4d ultrasound :( I’m disappointed, I don’t know when I’ll see my daughter again via ultrasound, they could have at least done a little more! She wasn’t moving a lot but she had her legs up in the air!
I still haven’t felt any movement and I asked the Dr that came in to check the ultrasound about it and she said since I’m a first time mom I shouldn’t have felt her move yet? She said not until 24-26 weeks… but I’ve seen lots of first time moms on here, and on the BBC birth board claim they feel their baby…. weird. I asked if I had an anterior placenta, and she said I did. I heard people talk about it, and it could possibly mean it will take longer to feel the baby. She said there’s a “pillow” between the baby and I. I feel like that explains why my stomach looks so misshapen at the bottom. You can kinda tell I’m pregnant but mostly it just looks like I have a beer belly.
I finally asked to switch doctors. I haven’t met the one I switched to but Shaun’s mom sees her, and so does my best friend. I hope she will be a lot more helpful and I feel more comfortable with her! My other doctor was nice, but I just didn’t get any help with anything from her, it was all such a rush. I feel so much better that I switched, it has been bugging me for weeks. I love the office that I go to, the staff is AMAZING.
I’m so relieved that everything has come back normal with my baby girl… I can’t wait until October so she can be here with her daddy and I! :)
